i've never been to prom before because of my dad who so cleverly booked a holiday that clashes with my prom. and i wouldn't really call that a holiday. dirty toilets are what i can't stand most. but let's not digress into that disgusting topic. as i was saying ive never been to prom before, so i don't really have a idea what to kinda dress is suitable. seen celest's prom dress, which is much too pink for me. and i've watched american movies with their proms but its so over dressed la. they looked like they were gonna get married la! the above dresses are what i thought was nice. and since i'm so short i can't prossibly wear dresses that are ankle length or longer right. i'll look like i'm too short for my dress. hyok.

went to daniel yam to have a look too. the dresses were damn nice la!! seen a few i really liked. BUT when i saw the price tag. my whole mood just sank la. not one dress is below $150. sigh. i've already paid so much for prom. $110, cos its held at The Fullerton. and with the dress and stuff, it'll prob cost alot more la. too bad dresses don't just fall from the sky. and the theme for the prom is glamour aka red carpet worthy. can't they just have some 60s theme where we can just tie-dye our old shirts and wear it with jeans?? but then again, the fullerton personnels will prob get us to enter by the backdoor. hyok.

some of my other friends were saying make up must be done by professionals, and manicures and pedicures and what not. my goodness. it'll cost a bomb la!! i'm definitely not going to that extent. sigh... in conclusion, as much as i wanna own one of my very own prom dress, i guess i'll just have to borrow one. so anyone reading this blog with dresses or knows people with dresses please tell me hoh. or if any good samaritan(s) want(s) to buy me one oso can :)
