went out with jocelyn for girl time today. and i'm glad i did. had some catching up to do and that dear girl joined california gym. HAHA. and she told me lotsa jokes bout the gyming antics.gym instructor to jocelyn :" flex your thigh muscles."*poke poke*gym instructor to jocelyn:"flex it!"jocelyn:"flexing! flexing!"gym instructor:"HUH?! ok... we need to work on your thigh muscles."haha!! ok. it may not sound really funny from here. but her whole facial expression and the way she said it made me almost spit my raspberry ice cream out!! she's really comical.anyway. i've decided that during 'my days' of selling ice cream. there has been pretty weird experiences. and i've decided on the top 3!at 3 ... at the compass point branch, one guy bought some ice cream and said:"you're as sweet as the ice cream you scooped for me, can i have your number?" i wanted to laugh. but decided to be courteous and politely declined. guess what flavour he bought? GREEN TEA. for goodness sake, green tea is NOT sweet. at 2 ... at tiong bahru plaza branch, a man walked right past the shop, then returned and asked me in chinese (direct translation) :"little girl, today no one buy ice cream ah?" i replied yes, he continued:"tomoro i bring my girlfriend to buy 3 from you. how much ah?" i told him the price. he has such an eerie look on his face. he continued:"little girl, can i come in and see the flavours?"i immediately ran to the entrance, stood there and blocked the entrance. it was quite scary because he didn't seem sane, and it was almost closing time, so all the rest of the shops already were closed or had their shutters down. thank god he decided to walk away after i didn't let him touch the red chain...at 1 ... ok. this is a funny one also at tiong bahru plaza. this guy, he bought ice cream from me, and he asked my age. i told him and he said he was just 3 years older. i was quite bored and he sorta was trying to get a conversation started, so i went along. he asked me why i wanted to work and not enjoy the a lvl hols like he did. i just said i needed more money. and we were both looking at the osim shop opp the ice cream shop. then he said:"osim really needs to think of better names. i think they are running out of words to match u and i. upapa, imassage, igogo, uzap, igallop etc etc. some of the names are really quite dumb."and i agreed, some of the names are really quite dumb. he continued:"if osim were to invent a vacuum cleaner, guess what they would call it?" i said, i don't know. he said:" of course they'll call it usuck, and if i buy it, isuck." i started laughing like mad. HAHA cos it was really really funny and kinda true. HAHA!!so there you have it, the top 3 weird experiences i have selling ice cream. OH. btw, the oreo mocha frappe at tcc is really really nice! and so is the korean cuisine at food republic.
