went with my mom to vivocity today cos we've gotta collect our repaired camera from canon keppel towers. went SHOPPING!! haha. yay. wanted to get a really really cute grey jersey pants from nichii (my ultimate fave at vivo) but decided against it cos, sigh, i don't know. actually why didn't i get it?!?! AH!! i should've gotten it. ok. rest assured that i'll be visiting vivocity soon enough again.

ate at noodleshut in harbourfront centre. which was ok la. nth spectacular.


we must always say grace before we eat. which sometimes, i forget. oops!

then we went shopping some more. haha. window shopping mostly :):) and met my dad for dinner at orchard. tell you ah, when you seriously think bout places to eat at orchard which is reasonably priced. its actually quite a difficult task. the 3 of us sat at cineleisure's foodcourt and thought for bout half an hour before we decided on going to this chinese restaurant at taka which my dad vaguely remembers that closed down a few years ago. walked past mandarin hotel and decided to check out the all time famous chatterbox chicken rice. i thought it was $8 per person. it was freaking $19.50!!! plus plus some more! plus here plus there each person prob bout $25. you could buy a whole chicken and an additional drumstick with that $$. we wouldve spent $75!! anyway. since taka's restaurant was closed down. we decided to go to mom's all time fave jack's place for sambal steak. but turns out! orchard's jack's place (the one near heeren) was closed down!! last day of operation was 8th april. we were hungry and tired and simply frustrated that all our choices were BAD ONES. in the end we decided on eating at the nearest place to where we were standing, which was swenson's. which turned out not bad at all. :) tried the allan and lilin creations. yummy :) had an ice cream after too. oh. did i mention that i had ben and jerry's before that too. sigh. TOO MUCH ICE CREAM MAKES ME FAT.
