went to watch the leap years with the girls. it was pretty nice. kinda deep and emotional. and i like that they depicted singapore as it really is. very much westernized, with still a touch of tradition with the architecture and temples, chinatown what not. unlike other films, which depicts singapore as a very crude and lowly country with getais, mediums, fervent ignorant idol worshipping, gangsters, loansharks etc etc. the ultimate spoiler for me was the 2 IRRITATING secondary school girls sitting behind me who were CHILDISH, IMMATURE BEYOND BELIEVE, ANNOYING, IRRITATING, NOISY, and just outright WITHOUT TASTE OR SENSE WHAT-SO-EVER. from the beginning of the movie, both of them were passing snide remarks like "OMG why did we ever come and watch this movie?" "waliao, why is your taste to bad?!" and not mutters-under-their-breath sort of whispher, but blatant talking out loud. from the first scene at the temple, they were laughing out loud "so singaporean. can't stand this film.sooo cheeena" then came the important climax scene where they never ever fail to laugh or pass some other lame remark that makes me soooooo wanna scold them there and then. THE MOST UNBEARABLE thing was that they were kicking my chair THROUGHOUT the movie. and one of them even had to cheek to put her leg on the arm rest and top of the seat in front of her (which was the seat beside me) even though its empty. should you really do that? didn't her parents teach her any manners at all?! what a crude rude irritating human being. i couldn't tolerate it any longer when at the most important part, they started searchign through their bags looking for something, in the process literally shook my chair non-stop. me:"can you please stop shaking the chair?!" *daggers* stopped for awhile, then it started again. this time i looked her straight in the eye and said:" stop kicking or shaking the chair. its very irritating" *murder* i turned back around to enjoy the movie, but that didn't stop them. UGH. you know...pple pay $$ to watch and enjoy a movie that is actually really quite good, and if you dont have the class or common courtesy, just human decency, to watch it then why waste your own $$ and others' as well? its just plain stupid and dumb. why pay for a movie you're not gonna watch and make stupid remarks about?its just soooooo stupid.i can't even begin to tell you how stupid i think they are. OH MY GOODNESS. i hope i never ever ever meet this kinda pple ever ever ever again.i'll just blow my top!!

stop being angry, if not i'll not be able to sleep. ok so i've gotten my long evening dress and short salsa dress! yay!! :)

my mom came over to my hall today to help me clean up. did i mention that she cut her finger on sunday? it was a really bad cut. her flesh was literally dangling from her pinky.i really thought it needed stitches but she didn't wanna go to the hospital! so much blood!! had to dress the wound for her. but soooo scary!! today when she came, she took out the plaster for a new one. and i saw it hadnt really 'connected' back yet. and the flesh was beginning to turn black! no blood circulation to it. tt's why. oh no! how? so scary la. there's a gap in her finger now. a bad painful painful painful gap. my mom's tolerance of pain is really really really high. she didn't even shed a tear and was so clam throughout. i remember the last time i cut myself with the campbell soup can, i cried like a baby. literally. so pain la!! shucks i feel for my mummy.
we went shopping after. where i bought my salsa dress. then had dinner together with my dad, who was so excited bout the cupcakes he bought. ha...
i love my parents :)
