have been watching pushing daisies every sunday night now. its basically a story about a queer pie maker (Nat) who's been in love with his childhood sweetheart until adulthood. one day she gets murdered, he learns about it. and decides to revive her. oh he has 'magical' powers. he can raise the dead with just a touch. but if he touches them a second time after they get revived, they die permanently. he decided to keep chuck (his childhood sweetheart) alive. but as much as he loves her, he cannot touch her. lest she dies permanently. they can't kiss, they can't hug, they can't cuddle. heck they can't even hold hands. they just CANNOT touch each other. and today's episode. wow, just played up this factor so much. chuck realised that nat is still a human being and he has his needs. but nat only wants her. and its soooo touching. esp the last part, when chuck asked nat what makes him the most happy and he simply replied:" you." without kisses, without hugs, without cuddles, without hands-holding. he still wants her. i just love that about him. love that so much.
and this came at such an apt time. amazing.
like an old rag doll, tossed out into the cold.
