night out with huilian :) supposed to be worrying bout lab stuff. but we ended up camwhoring. BUT a big thank you to MR. WONG VEEN SENN. not like he's gonna see this. but he's truly a sweetheart helping me get my lab slot after the big messup of the system! YAY.
anyways... first we went to the soup spoon for dinner and here's my new hair! tada!!
then we walked around abit and decided to head to esplanade, turns out, there was a free performance :)
so we plopped ourselves down and started taking photos as well... my new short-er hair! and my dimple. i have to smile real hard for it to show. due to my fat cheeks. ack. we tried to pout, but like i said on facebook, i ended up looking like a chimp, and huilian looks like she has water in her mouth. LOL. wink like there's sand in your eyes and you really don't wanna see anything!

and this other pic i took of a couple sitting in front of us... i just think its really sweet that they came together just to spend time with each other and unwind after a week of work. i mean. there were no words exchanged, just sitting side by side enjoying the gentle breeze and soothing music. its romantic and yet just relaxing without the stress of wanting to impress the other party or conjure up some plan to make the other party happy. just sitting back, relaxing and basking in the presence of one another. sigh. so sweet.
