i've been so sluggish, reluctant and lackadaisical (basically every other synonym of sian) lately with regards to affairs of the IT. why? because i lost my gateway to IT. i know i'm being a drama mama but i'm entitled to my period of mourning. sigh. not on msn or facebook or checking my email or blogging as often as i should especially since its the hols, but i'm ok with that. and i'm getting the IT-savvy-ness back with my dad's mini laptop bit by bit, step by step. so now, for some long due photos...
Mommy's Birthday on April 8th 2009
we went to this peranakan buffet thingy, lol, yes we were influenced by the little nonya. the food was really just ok, ambience was so-so. the deserts and probably real traditional touch to it was the only highlight of the experience dining there though. one minus point, not the restaurant's fault, but having a picky ang moh with 2 chinese pple who are trying to slang like him horrendously doesn't help in building the little nonya illusion we were looking for when dining there. he was complaining bout singapore's lack of lustre for the liquor industry. and complaining that the drink he was served was not authentic or something like that. plain snobbish and condescending. i truly dislike condescending people.
anyways, let's not sidetrack. lol.
