but someone did steal. and she stole my laptop. how do i know its a she? cos she stole it from a girl's toilet. I remember because i tried balancing it in the cubicle. then i left the cubicle to wash my hands and stuff, remembering it then, i went back to get it, but it was GONE. GONE GONE GONE GONE GONE. then vivocity didn't call even though i reported. ANOTHER NIGHT ANOTHER DAY, WHAT CAN I SAY? my laptop is gone. sigh. i reported it to the police. and they said they might not investigate because i had no suspect or serial number, and more importantly, i don't know if there was a cctv. so i found my laptop serial number and enquired with vivocity security whether there was a cctv, which there was, and told the police officer who processed my report. he said he'll get back to me again, but he didn't. I really hope they will do something about it. andrina gave me a good idea to write to their superior and complain if they do not, my cousin says to write to my mp. so if i do not receive a letter explaining what investigations they did in 2 weeks time, i'm gonna write a complain letter to BOTH the mp and their superior. and maybe even to the straits times. slackers.
anyways, i really thank god for my parents. they are so understanding. when they came back from phillipines around 12 plus, (though i was preparing to sleep) i rushed to off the lights and hop into bed and pretended to be already deep in slumber cos i was SCARED that they would scold me. the next morning, my mom woke me with:"lilin!! come let's go eat lunch!!" in my mind i was thinking, did they forget that i singlehandedly (ok double handedly including the theif's hands) lost them 2244.85 plus all my school work and PRECIOUS data!!!?? so i mustered up the courage, or maybe it was the grogginess from just waking up, and asked, so my laptop how? my mom simply said:"we'll check the insurance and see how after that lo..." and my dad said:"want to buy can buy better one...if want can use mine first." my goodness. i was shocked. thank god for my parents. really.
I WANT MY LAPTOP BACK. ALL MY PHOTOGRAPHS, VOUSEXPRIMER INFO, SCHOOL WORK, PROJECTS ETC. ALL MY MEMORIES!!!! GIVE IT BACK!!!!! WHOEVER TOOK IT...GIVE IT BACK!!!!!!!!
