started watching a new show. its quite obvious what it is, but honestly, i think its great. the way they upped "high school musical" and show people that musicals don't have to be cheesy and fake and all rainbows and flowers. real issues, real songs, real singing. tt's what i call a musical.
plus, it helped that the cast is way better-looking than the cast of high school musical. older, and less teen-craze-disney-channel kind. can't stand the disney channel franchises. it would take me a thesis paper to properly express my intolerance towards people past a certain age who still, can't seem to fathom a world beyond disney channel nonsense. degrading the already eroded mind of people nowadays. the so called depiction of moral and values through fantasies and falsified situations makes people who watch these shows go:"hey... this moral and values thing can only happen with magic, or with people who have everything or with people who have perfect lives. common people like us can just heck it." so what are they really teaching kids? old school disney cartoons are better, in the sense that kids can extract the moral from the fiction, and apply it to non-fiction real life. disney franchises are just blurring the lines by using these 'teen idols' and ridiculous storylines that is WAY BEYOND me why anyone with the mental capability of even a chimpanzee would wanna watch it (which is around a 7 yr old kid btw). NONSENSE. ok i don't know why a post about glee has now become a disney franchise blasting session. but yeah. it is the way it is.
