Afternoon Tea & Dance at St Regis Brasserie Les Saveurs
went with jocelyn who just came back from korea! considering the fact that we both claim we're kinda broke, a $60 high tea isn't exactly budget friendly. but. oh well. jocelyn seemed to think that it was only $30, and i, a high tea noob didn't even know what was going on. so. neh mind! i liked the sandwiches, and the jam...the strawberry jam to be eaten with scones... is the most delicious jam i ever tasted. and that woman. that siao zha bor came to high tea with bleached and whitened teeth, cannot eat soooo many things. but nehmind. i ate for her.
i kinda think the reason why it was more expensive its cos it was a dance day as well. there were dancers there that kept asking jocelyn and i to dance. but we didn't la. it was a scene for old ladies. not us. we were so full after eating the scones, we couldn't possibly savour the deserts that comprises of mainly tarts after. which was quite wasted.
i tried the grand wedding tea, just because the name was quite funny and it sounded like something a madhatter would drink. jocelyn had warm milk. lol. cos its good for teeth. or rather bleached whitened teeth.
all in all. i felt that... it wasn't worth 60 bucks. though there were some highlights. but...yeah. not worth 60 bucks.
