my post 22nd birthday celebration
Had a post 22nd birthday celebration! went to lawry's for a meal with ramen. the food is truly good, but its too indulgent. can only go there once in a very blue moon. NO BUDGET. the first was the spinning bowl salad. which was really LOL. in her funny waitress costume, the waitress named princess explained to us about the spinning bowl salad and proceeded on to pour the salad sauce into the spinning salad bowl with a very very very very very funny pose. i wanted to laugh. but it was too rude. HAHA. i should've taken a photo/video man!
then it was the cream of mushroom soup, which was good. followed by our main course, the california cut and the english cut. the california cut is about 175g, whereas the english cut is about 200g? I can't remember exactly. but lawry's traditional cut is 285g, including a side of creamy spinach. ours only had the yorkshire pudding and mashed potato. which made us very much full.
The yorkshire pudding was meant to absorb the "zhap" of the meat. they actually call it quite a nice name, but i forgot. the "zhap" of the meat was really very nice! couldn't have downed the meat without it.
after tt, we had our complimentary desert because it was my birthday! and our picture was taken for us and printed on the spot.
anyways i think lawry's birthday promotion is really quite good. if it's your birthday month, give it a try!
after dinner we went shopping for my present! (:
if i haven't yet, i wanna post a big thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday! thanks to the sec sch gang for buying me the chanel scent. though i know it was jamie who did the shopping. lol. and baked the cake.
thanks to the churchies for baking me that snail cake! ahahaha. quite a funny looking delicious cake.
