wow. this blog has been long forgotten. and just sitting here waiting for my hair to dry has jolted my memory of its existence.
ok! i shall blog more often. for no one else but myself. actually.
just posted pictures of boracay! which was my grad trip no. 2. no. 1 was usa. of which there are thousands of photos and i simply have no time nor energy to upload them just yet. + the nice photos are all with lulu.
anyways, some highlights of Boracay 21st May - 24th May 2011
lulu and i in front of the first propeller plane both of us ever took in our lives. + the airport seemed like something from LOST. pretty cool.
the gang on the boat from Caticlan to Boracay.
we stayed in a mansion on a hill, called Diniwid Hills, or according to Ger, Windy Hills.
the view from the pool. don't you just wish you were there?
moooooocho, the permanent resident of the mansion. along with the 2 housekeepers and driver.
the sunset view from the sunset room. note that all the rooms doesn't have curtains so we can soak up the views entirely.
white beach. kinda obvious why it's named that. clear waters, fine sand. really, one of the most beautiful beaches ive ever seen. considering the number of people there, its surprising to see how pristine this place is.
the famous (or should i say infamous) ariel's point. for cliff diving amateurs and enthusiasts alike, everyone follows a rule. leap with faith, at your own risk.
taken from the 16m cliff. with one hand tightly clasping the rail for dear life. for all the macho talk i did before coming to this place, about how i can do it, how i'm a thrill seeker. it kinda shut me up (humbled me) after seeing the height. and chicken-ing out from jumping the 5m cliff the first few tries didn't really help my incessant bragging earlier either. lesson learnt? don't brag about what you have yet to do. not because of what others might think of you later, but because of the disappointment and realisation of what you thought you could do, but didnt.
proof that the alcohol made them do it. 16m cliff diving, they went.
group shot after ariel's point. bruised and battered. not that it mattered.
sunset at white beach
guess what i was trying to take a photograph of? spot the red eye. i <3 lizards.
view from the boat.
final group shot. my oh my have i put on weight. as the host on the biggest loser would say, time to cut the fat. and i am trying!
~end of Boracay~
more updating soon!
